Reruns...
I am a huge television fan. I watch television all day long. Regardless of what I am doing, the television is on. I am not always actively watching it. Sometimes I keep it on for a little background noise. In all those hours that I watch television, I do catch a lot of reruns. I am so used to people complaining about reruns. I don't understand why people feel this way. It's not like there aren't a ton of new programs all the time. The way I look at it is, if it is worth watching the first time it's worth watching again. I think that some of the reruns are still hilarious, no matter how many times I see them. My favorite reruns consist of sitcoms. Sitcoms are always timeless, I usually laugh as hard as I did the first time. My favorite sitcoms consist of King of Queens, Still Standing and Seinfeld. Unfortunately, King of Queens just had there series finale. I also watch the Simpson's and Friends from time to time. I am excitedly waiting the Simpson's movie, which is coming out sometime this summer. The humor that is incorporated into these programs is absolutely hilarious. I love to laugh especially, at simple minded humor. Not to say that these shows aren't done well. I am sure that it was a tremendous amount work to make these shows seem so effortlessly funny. I am a huge comedy fan. I will be a faithful viewer to any program as long as they can make me laugh. I regularly watch the Office and Scrubs. However, just recently I have become a fan of the new reality show on MTV. I normally do not watch much MTV. However, they just came out with a new program. The new program is called Adventures in Hollyhood. I watched Rob & Big last year. These shows are similar. They follow around two different groups of semi-celebrities. They are both funny groups of people. Luckily, Rob & Big is debuting with there second season on May 22nd. I am looking forward to this. These two shows just crack me up. Unfortunately, MTV does go nuts with there reruns. Sometimes I will see these programs aired three or four times in one day.

Summer Fun...
I am graduating in a little over a week. I requested some time off from work so that I can relax and enjoy myself for a few days. I had initially planned to lay around the house and just waste time. However, I decided after all my hard work I deserve a little bit of fun. I am basically, looking for a mini-vacation or a day of fun. Here in California there are many different attractions. I started coming up with different ideas of things to do. First, I thought about Disneyland. I am a Disney fan and I haven't been in a few years. I enjoy all the rides and the scenery. I have even been to the new park, California Adventures. Tower of Terror has to be one of my favorite thrill rides. My boyfriend has never been before, so I thought this would be a great place. However, Disneyland can be ridiculously expensive. Don't get me wrong it is a fun experience but, the prices are outrageous. Finally, I figured out that I didn't have enough time for a two day trip. I would have to beg the management at my work for an extra day off. I know that isn't going to happen. I think that it would be best to plan something a little closer to home. A one day trip would have to be sufficient. I thought of other theme parks. There is Great America, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom , WaterWorld or the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk. They are all fun and not too far. I was also thinking about the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I have been to all of these places before so, they are all old news to me. Considering that I am graduating on Memorial Day weekend, I figured that it was probably going to be pretty crowded at these parks. I have been asking around for any ideas. Someone said that I should go to the Mystery Spot. I haven't been there before so, I should give it a try. So far, I think that I will be going to the Mystery Spot and to the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk. These plans are not finalize , I am still open to suggestions. If you have any ideas let me know.

100 calories
As we all know, summer is upon us. For women everywhere this is bathing suit time. Unfortunately, I have to say I am also trying to watch what I eat. It's not that I don't like eating healthy, it is that I don't like giving up my sweets. Obviously, I love candy, chocolate, cookies, cake and sugary cereal. However, I have found a great alternative to trading in all my sweets for salads. I found a way to snack all day while being conscious of what I am eating. The 100 calorie packs are probably one of the best ideas. In a time with fatty foods and over sized portions, someone has made a killing with a simple idea. There are many different companies that are know offering different 100 calorie options. I have found that you can have a 100 calorie pack of cookies, cupcakes, crackers and chips. This is a way to stop over eating. This is what has helped me. Most times I would mindlessly eat and not think about the portion. With this alternative it causes people to stop. However, since they are pre-portioned it has a lot of wasteful packaging. Many different companies are now becoming interested in making 100 calorie packs. Companies like Hostess, Nabisco and Quaker. I also suggest the 90 calories strawberry Special K bars. This simple idea are causing many people to shed pounds. Although, I guess it would just be simpler to portion your food on your own. These tasty little treats are worth trying. The cheapest place that I have found them were at Target. They were about two dollars for a box.
The Torkelsons, lost forever.
I watched many different types of programming when I was younger. Programs like Ghostwriter, Reading Rainbow and Kid's Incorporated were some of my favorites. However, in the summers we would get a month of the Disney channel for free. At this time I often abandoned my regular programs and watched there programs. The Disney Channel programs consisted of Ready or Not and The Babysitters Club. However, my favorite program of all was called the Torkelsons. This show wasn't on for very long. There were only about 20 episodes, but they were re-run over and over again. They also had a spin-off called Almost Home. Both programs were centered around the Torkelson family. The family in the first program consisted of Millicent, a single mother, and her five children. The main character was Dorothy Jane a 14 year old girl, struggling with confusing emotions. The family was from Oklahoma and had a lot of southern charm. Although, Dorothy Jane thought her family was strange. The spin-off program was set in Seattle. In the new program two of the children were missing. Also the Millicent took a job as a nanny. This program was probably the most memorable and dramatic program on the Disney channel at the time. However, I have been devastated to find that there is a lack of information available about the program. From what I found there are only a few sites that have information about the program. This shows me that I will probably never be able to find this program on DVD. It is depressing to think about all those lost shows that will never be appreciated. Another program that is unappreciated is my favorite cartoon, David the Gnome. It is not available on DVD in the United States. Hopefully, someday there will be an increased demand for these classic programs.

Mario Party 8
As you may know, I own a Nintendo Wii. I previously wrote about how I had wanted to buy Cooking Mama. I did get the game and it is very fun. Although, some of the moves that you have to make are difficult for the system to respond to. However, now I am eagerly awaiting the release of Mario Party 8. I just saw the commercial for it on television and it inspired me to find out more. Many people are already familiar with Mario Party. I am pretty sure that Mario Party has been around since Super Nintendo days. However, this Mario Party 8 is going to be drastically different from the previous versions of the game. This is due to the advanced Wii controller. The controller kind of brings the game to life. For the most part, Mario Party consists of mini-games. Which are small tasks that you must do to proceed with the adventure. From what I have seen, the game consist of many tasks including jumping rope, hammering nails and navigating various vehicles throughout short courses. The game is going to be released on May 30Th. I am sure many Wii owners are eagerly awaiting the release. However, there are still a lot of people waiting to get a hold of a Wii. The Nintendo Wii has done so well in comparison to the Sony PS3. When the PS3 became available to the public I remember the craze surrounding it. Two of my cousins sat in line for days waiting to get there hands on one. They got theirs and like many other people they sold them on Ebay. This created such a stir that many people bought there PS3's for double or triple the price. Now they are sitting in the stores collecting dust. Personally, I think that many people believed that the PS3 was going to be more than it really is. If you care about graphics and the newest technology you might be more interested in the PS3. However, it is really expensive and so are the games. However, with the Wii it is something different. The whole family can enjoy it and it is more affordable. Once people started hearing about the Wii, people were hooked. The popularity of the Wii has also increased the popularity of the Nintendo DS, which is the previously release from Nintendo.

Sugar High...
Last weekend I had to make a trip to the mall. I really don't enjoy shopping. Maybe I would enjoy it if I wasn't spending my own money. I am trying to save my money, so the mall is not a good place for me to visit. However, I need a dress for graduation. I am usually able to go to one store find something and get out of there. Today, this was not the case. The mall was crowded with high school students getting last minute items for prom. My boyfriend and I tried to hurry through our shopping trip but we were unable to find anything. While going store to store we saw that they put in a new Sweet Factory. I love candy but, I try not to over do it. My boyfriend and I went through the store and picked a little bit out of a few different bins. One of my favorite types of candy are sour belts. You know, those fruity brightly colored sugary treats. I had eaten them before but I never thought twice about them. They used to only come in flavors like strawberry and apple. Now they have flavor combinations like peach and strawberry or banana and strawberry. They are really delicious. If you can't find a specialty candy store, you can try the new Airheads Xtreme. They are multi-colored, berry flavored sour belts, that are available just about anywhere. I know that sour candy are filled with artificial flavoring and chemicals but they are my guilty pleasure. They aren't the healthiest but they are definitely worth trying. If you already know about sour belts, they are also available in bulk at Costco.

I scream for ICE CREAM!!
Summer is approaching very quickly. Right now, I am trying to stay cool and it is only May. I think that the most refreshing thing on a hot day is ice cream. In recent years, I have seen a different take on the ice cream parlor. When I was younger the most popular place to get ice cream was at Baskin Robbins. I am still a huge fan of there flavor, World Class Chocolate. World Class Chocolate consists of white chocolate mousse and milk chocolate ice cream. It's the best, trust me. I have recently seen a few Cold Stone Creamery locations in my neighborhood. I personally, don't enjoy there ice cream. I would much rather put my toppings on top, rather than mixing them together. It makes the ice cream, melted and tasteless. Don't get me wrong, I love soft serve ice cream. In fact, my favorite place to get ice cream is Fosters Freeze. Unfortunately, Fosters Freeze is only available in California. However, if you plan on visiting California there are many locations. My Grandpa took me to Fosters Freeze since I was just a few years old. I always thought that he was treating me, however it is also his favorite ice cream. My favorite is a chocolate dipped vanilla cone. It is completely messy, but totally worth it. Foster Freeze also has a lot of food on there menu. They have burgers and fries, that type of thing. If you prefer to have a little treat at home. I always recommend Dove bars or Haagen Dazs bars. They are great, you just pull one out of the freezer. I prefer these because if you buy regular ice cream it gets that layer of freezer burn. Overall, I am excited that summer is here and ready to celebrate with some ICE CREAM.

What is the deal with the Disney Channel?
I was watching the Disney channel the other day and I realized they have a new generation of young stars. Well, of course they have new stars. However, I started thinking about the last group of teens that were on the Disney channel. Celebrities that consist of Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake all got there start on the Disney Channel. Lindsay starred in several movies. Hilary Duff was once the main character of Lizzie McGuire. Finally, Justin and Britney who were on the Mickey Mouse Club, together. Disney can really help a young celebrity on the path to stardom. However, many of these former stars are now acting out as adults. They are the talk of all the tabloids. Drinking, drugs, eating disorders, fights and plastic surgery are now activity that they are familiar with. The new programs that are on the Disney Channel consist of Hannah Montana, The Suite Life of Zach and Cody and That's so Raven. I have watched these programs a few times. However, I can't imagine the kids on these programs acting in the same way that the generation before them act. However, bad behavior is what is cool now. It will be interesting to see if these over-the-top, cheesy preteens will turn out the same way. Overall, I believe that the first generations of Disney stars should re-think there actions. The kids that were once watching there programs are about the same age as they are. They are being very bad influences. They are even sending the wrong message to there younger counter-parts. We as a public, are also to blame for accepting there behavior. Whether it is Lindsay in rehab or Britney having a breakdown, these bratty celebrities know how to make headlines. I wish I could act like a crazy person and have everyone love me for it.

TOYS!!!
I found myself in the toy store the other day. I was looking for a birthday gift. While my mother and I were in the store we came across a Skip-It. This is one of the many toys that I wanted as a child. The Skip-It was one of the coolest toys. I remember when I was younger trying to sell my Mom on this specific toy. I told her that this wasn't really a toy it was more like a sport. For whatever reason I didn't get one when I was younger. When we came across it in the store I remember just how badly I wanted one when I was younger. I had the same feeling that I am sure many children had felt as a child. This made me realize that toys are not just an insignificant piece of our childhood. They are a big part of our fond memories. I also remember the infectious theme song to My Buddy and Kid Sister. I wanted one of those dolls so bad. However, I did get a Cabbage patch doll. My Grandmother risked getting trampled to grab one for me. There were many different toy crazes that I was lucky enough to have witnessed. One of my biggest obsessions were Polly Pockets and Mighty Max. I think regardless of the trend I was interested in all toys. I had Barbies, Trolls, Pogs, Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite...you name it I wanted it. I have noticed that toy companies are re-releasing newer creations of our favorite toys. In some ways, I don't like the new toys. I understand that toy companies are probably viewing this as an opportunity to profit from my generation having children. However, if I had children I belief that I would want them to have the same, exact toys that I had. Perhaps, they would have the same experience. Similarly, I would want my children to see the original cartoons that I watched not some updated digitally enhanced versions. An example of this is the new TMNT movies. I mean can you really attempt to improve the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The Genius that is Guitar Hero
Over the Easter weekend, like many people I got together with my family. We had an egg hunt and decorated cookies. We ate a lot of different kinds of food including ham. The day was great, what made it even more special was that my cousins brought over their Xbox 360. I really didn't care at first. As you all know I am more of a Wii player. However, I couldn't help but hear the rock songs blaring from the living room. They were playing Guitar Hero. I had seen the game in the past but I was never really interested. I decided to give it a try and I was totally hooked. The person that created this game should be a millionaire, if they aren't already. I enjoyed everything from the song choices to the look of the on-screen characters. At first, I felt that the controls were very difficult to master. However, after playing for just a few moments I was getting through more advanced songs. The game works with a special guitar shaped controller. There are colored buttons on the top that you need to press and a switch that mimmics strumming. I just hope that this game, or another one similar to it, will be available for the Wii. Guitar Hero and Dance Dance Revolution are the leaders in the trend of more interactive games. The Wii is a system that is based upon this concept. Guitar Hero is a game that everyone can have fun with. I really want my Dad to play it. He has always wanted to play the guitar but he doesn't possess that natural ability. I also found this funny interview with Jack Black playing Guitar Hero.

Cartoon Mix
I thought that I should make a mix of some classic cartoons. These cartoons are some well-known classics including, Bugs Bunny, Felix the Cat and Woody Woodpecker. Here are some of my old favorites, even though some of these cartoons came before my time. You can't help but laugh at some of these silly cartoons. I hope you enjoy!

Zodiac
I'm sure everyone has heard that the new movie, Zodiac is over 2 hours long. The length of this movie was not very appealing. It is usually very hard to sit through a movie of that length. However, if the movie is entertaining and is this length, it is a pleasure. I had heard mixed reviews of Zodiac from friends. Most people that I talked to told me to wait for the DVD. On Thursday, I spoke to a friend that I share my Law and Order obsession with. She told me that she had seen Zodiac, the night before and it was great. I finally made up my mind that this was a movie I wanted to see. My boyfriend and I went out on Saturday and ran a few errands. We decided to catch a matinee. The movie was really good. Or at least I thought so, my boyfriend feel asleep after the first hour. Perhaps, I thought so highly of the movie because I love to watch crime dramas. Of course, the movie moved a little slowly but, there were many facts that were crucial to the story. This movie spans several decades and a lot of information. I also found it very appealing that the movie took place in the Bay Area. The characters in the movie were also fun to watch. Zodiac the movie is basically about the Zodiac murders in California. These murders took place in the 1960's and 1970's. I thought that Jake Gyllenhaal did a great job as an obsessed aspiring author. When I got home I recommended this movie to my Aunt, who is also a crime drama junkie. Anyone, who enjoys watching programs like, Law and Order, Crossing Jordan or CSI, would most likely enjoy this movie. I found a review of this film on Rotten Tomatoes. Check it out.

GOOD OL' DAYS
I have been extremely stressed out and frustrated for the past week. I don't think that I am alone in my feeling that this year is passing too quickly. Whenever I have a lot of work and responsibilities it reminds me of a simpler time. You know, when you didn't have to make any decisions. I really miss being a kid. Probably the most memorable and easy time of my life was in the 90's. I reminisce about how easy life was in those days. I would literally come home everyday and do my homework in front of the TV, while watching Disney cartoons. When I was younger it was Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers and Talespin. Then after that was Gummi Bears and Dark Wing Duck. However, my all time favorite has to be Ducktales.
To this day I am in awe whenever I watch an old episode of these programs. This is because I can usually remember the ending before it is over. I feel that Ducktales was one of the most universal cartoons ever made. It seemed as if all of my family and friends felt the same way about this cartoon. Regardless of whether it was a girl or a boy, they enjoyed it. Ducktales literally had it all. Adventure was the main theme. Huey, Dewey and Louie were always causing mischief. There were enemies such as, Magica de Spell(my favorite) and the Beagle Boys. Throughout the series the importance of sticking together and supporting a cause was expressed. Although, the cause that they were supporting was the success of Scrooge McDuck. Ducktales was very profitable for Disney. This could be because it was different from many cartoons at the time. The show was translated into many different languages. Darkwing Duck was actually a spin-off from Ducktales. I literally jumped for joy about a year ago when I found out that most of these Disney cartoons were going to be released on DVD. I have piratically all of the box sets. I highly suggest them to anyone who remembers the series or anyone who has children. To find out more information on Ducktales and related stuff visit, RETROJUNK
Obviously, my love of cartoons has continued beyond Ducktales and the other Disney's series. However, I have to stay true to my favorites and especially when I am feeling overwhelmed I miss those good ol' days.

The wonders of the Wii...
On Wednesday, I purchased a Nintendo Wii. It was an impulse buy. People have been searching for them since they came out several months ago. I was lucky, they were available and I had been looking for something that will keep me home more often. I bought it and brought it home. It was easy to set up and start playing. As I began going through the sports game that comes with the system, I was instantly addicted. We haven't had a gaming system in my house since the Nintendo 64. I was never really interested in the Playstation or Xbox. Perhaps,it is because I don't really like strategy games. Well, I'm not very good at them. I think I have always been so busy that I never have enough time to devote to them. I prefer the silly games that are more typically associated with Nintendo systems. I haven't bought any new Wii games but, I was excited to find out that the Wii also plays the Gamecube games. I don't have any Gamecube games but, they are cheaper and easier to find. The Wii has slots for four Gamecube controllers and two Game cube memory cards. You can also purchase the older Nintendo games through the Wii channel. This feature allows you to access the Internet and download games onto a SD card. I want to download the original Excite Bike and Duck Hunt. I have talked to other people and I have heard that Zelda and Wario Ware: Smooth Moves are worth buying. I am personally looking forward to Mario Party 8 and Cooking Mama: Cook off. I am especially excited to experience Cooking Mama. With the special Wii controller, when you are asked to chop or stir you make all the motions. These new games are going to be released in March. Overall, the Wii is becoming more popular than the Playstation 3. This could be due to the fact that Nintendo is targeting a wider demographic. The Wii can easily become a family activity. My Mom likes to play the Boxing game when she gets off work to relieve stress. She is also looking forward to Cooking Mama. The controversy over the Wii controllers hasn't seemed to cause people to lose interest. The defective Wii wrist straps have resulted in a lawsuit and many damaged TVs but, people are still excited to buy them. I found a review of the Wii on YouTube. I like it because it is more harsh than my review. They discuss more technical aspects like graphics.
I also found an interview with two of the Wii's developers, if you are interested in the Wii you should check it out. Wii interview As I had mentioned previously there is also some controversy surrounding the Wii. The Wii has been taking some flak for causing injuries and damage. If you find this silly or don't believe what you are reading you should check out this page. Wii have a problem

Good Bye, Trans Fat.
If you watch television, read magazines or use the Internet, I'm sure you have heard about trans fat. Trans fat is the newest food element that is being scientifically scrutinized. It has been proven that trans fat is related to high cholesterol and weight gain. Many corporate chains have been under pressure to remove trans fats from there menus. For example, McDonald's uses different oil to fry food, in an effort to be more health conscious. Even Starbucks has phased trans fats out of their pastries and other foods items. I was wondering if trans fat were going to be removed from candy and cookies. My worst fear being that this could affect the taste of my favorite sweets. I decided to search the web and see what I could find out about the subject. One of the first things that I found was a list of foods that contain the highest amounts of trans fat. I was shocked to find that many of my favorite candy bars were on that list. I was even more shocked to find that cereal was also on the list. Diet Bites This site gave a list of foods however, there wasn't too much information as to what trans fats are. However, I found a video on YouTube that was very informative.
This video focuses mainly on current issues regarding trans fat in New York. What about trans fat in candy? I heard that Hershey's had removed trans fat from their candy. I also read that Kraft was being forced to find a substitute for trans fat in their Oreos. Overall, I couldn't find if there was any ruling for candy to be removed. Even though I was unable to find any specific information regarding candy companies removing trans fat, I beleive that it will eventually happen. Society as a hole is shifting away from trans fat. It is inevitable that trans fat will no longer be present in candy. Is this a bad thing? Now that I have a better understanding of what trans fats are, I believe that regardless this is a positive thing. Even though I do love to eat candy, cookies and cereal, I have a pretty balanced diet. However, many people don't and removal of trans fat would positively impact many peoples health. Even if the removal of trans fat would effect some of the flavors in my favorite treats, I'm sure I would get used to it and eat them anyway.

Whatever happened to Recess?
I know that being born in the 80's, I am probably too old to have watched Recess. Although, this program is only a few years old, I found myself missing it from the television line up. Although, the program was short-lived it was very successful. One full length feature was produced. There were also two DVD's that were made after the program stopped airing. I tried to find out if this series was going to be released on DVD. I couldn't find anything about it. However, I did find a Toon Disney schedule that included Recess. Unfortunately, I do not get this station. I am assuming this a channel that isn't on basic cable.
My significant other is CEREAL!
As long as I can remember I have always had someone to come home to. Although, they often go by different names they are always there. My favorite thing to do after a stressful day at work is pour a huge bowl of cereal. No matter what variety, it is comforting to curl up with a nice big bowl of cereal. Sometimes when I can't sleep, I creep quietly into the kitchen and pour myself a second bowl for the day. There is no better combination in the world beside television and cereal. I remember watching television when I was little and looking forward to seeing cereal commercials. At any given time I probably have between five and ten boxes of cereal at home. Cereal has always been one of the main staples in my diet. Often times instead of eating a meal, I will have cereal. This is probably why people sometimes refer to me as, cereal killer. It is virtually impossible to keep milk in my fridge. However, I don't worry because I will always have cereal. For those of you who aren't in love with cereal. I took it upon myself to draft a list of the best cereals. You might also be interested to check out Breakfast Cereals or Cereal Box Archive

Surfing the web...
I was interested to see if there were other people with interests like mine. I searched other blogs to see if there are similar ones out there. I found a few different sites that seemed to have similar purposes. I found this site which I really enjoyed. Candy Addict This site gives an in depth look at several featured candies. They also link other article about candy to this site. This site is epecially fun because they review each type of candy. I love candy. I eat it all the time, even though I know I shouldn't. I always like to try new types of candy. However, I do have my favorites. This site also introduces candy from other countries, for those who are adventourous. I found this site to be visually pleasing. I thought it had a clean design. I also think that it is very important that there were photos of the candies packaging. Another site that I found interesting is 50 Greatest Cartoons. This site has a long list of links directing the viewer to certain cartoons. All of the cartoons are ranked. There are fifty. Hence the title, 50 greatest cartoons. Next to each cartoon is the date that it aired. I feel that this site is effective in its purpose. However, I felt that there were many modern cartoons that were worthy of being on the list. Aside from that, the site was pretty informative. Finally, I looked at 80's club. I especially enjoyed this site because it transcended time. Meaning, it included information straight from the 80's, modern information and updates on 80's icons. Similar to this site, I didn't want to specifically dedicate my blog to one specific or restrictive area. I wanted to have the freedom to do as I please. This would mean allowing myself to post whatever I find interesting at the moment. This site included many videos and images. There were also included different quotes. Another, thing that I enjoyed about this blog is that it is updated with new posts frequently. Hopefully, these sites can help strengthen my own blog.
How old are you?
Typically, people associate candy, cartoons and cereal, with children. These things are just a few of the many things that I enjoy. With my hectic life, I have to balance work ,school and family. This takes a lot of time and effort. I rarely ever have any free time, when I do, I like to participate in the things that I enjoy. However, I often hear how mindless or stupid they are. People often ask, how old are you? I am not going to pretend that I am something I am not. I am not sophisticated or rich. I guess everyone feels that if you are being responsible, you can't have as much fun as when you were young. I personally, think that I enjoy the finer things in life. Many people would probably think that these things are simple. I don't think that they are simple and that's all that matters to me. I do also enjoy many other things. Candy, cartoons and cereal just seem to top the list. This is a way for me to further enjoy the things that make me happy. Whether it is 80's nostalgia or modern comedy, this will be a way to collect my thoughts.

I WILL NEVER BE HIP.
Who can forget those awkward high school days? I can personally say that I wasn't the most popular girl in school. If you identify with my sad tell, you should definately identify with Louise. Louise in an over acheiving, out cast. On her sixteenth birthday she has a change of luck. Teen Witch has to be one of my favorite movies of all time. No, not because it is so cheesy. Many of you may vaguely remember it. It was played numerous time on HBO between 1991 and 1994. The story of a nerdy teen that turns into the most popular girl, is a classic theme. Teen Witch came out in 1989. It stars Robyn Lively and Zelda Rubinstein. Although, this movie didn't star Molly Ringwald it had an unforgettable cast. This movie is timeless. Well, maybe it isn't timeless... it is clear that this movie was filmed in the 80's. The big hair, neon clothes and up-beat music are a perfect combination. Even though the main concept of the movie is a teenager with magical powers, I find it has universal appeal. By the way, you can still find Teen Witch on DVD.
