Whatever happened to Recess?

I know that being born in the 80's, I am probably too old to have watched Recess. Although, this program is only a few years old, I found myself missing it from the television line up. Although, the program was short-lived it was very successful. One full length feature was produced. There were also two DVD's that were made after the program stopped airing. I tried to find out if this series was going to be released on DVD. I couldn't find anything about it. However, I did find a Toon Disney schedule that included Recess. Unfortunately, I do not get this station. I am assuming this a channel that isn't on basic cable.

This was an interesting post and I liked the YouTube, but I'm wondering why you liked Recess? I too was an 80's child that was probably to old to be watching this show but I did. I found it to be a very interesting take on the "secret" lives of kids at school. I think that this post would have been a little better if you had explained why you liked it and maybe even how you felt when you discovered it was no longer apart of the Saturday morning cartoon line up.
I thought being a Recess fan you might enjoy the Recess Home Page. I foudn this cite and thought some of the games could be fun.

First of all, I really enjoyed looking at your blog. It's bright and the topics are cheerful. Who doesn't like candy? I also loved the picture from David the Gnome and the YouTube cartoon. Although, like Tasha has already explained, maybe you could have discussed the cartoon more in depth.
An idea for your next post might be to discuss your cartoon history. What cartoons did you watch when you were little? What cartoons do you watch now? What about them appeals to you and what could you do without? Or maybe you could tackle the Cartoon Network/Boston
fiasco.
